Rooms at this Whitsunday Island Resort are situated in either the Pool, Lagoon and Beach Wings, whilst suites are located in the Pool and Lagoon Wings. Rooms feature a private terrace or balcony the luxurious Beach Villa features an outdoor deck with a refreshing plunge infinity pool.

Hayman is developing an exclusive collection of Beach Villas which will present new standards in international resort excellence. Eight absolute beachfront villas on the shores of Australia's most celebrated private island destination will offer breathtaking uninterrupted views of the Coral Sea and beyond and unsurpassed interior and exterior appointments. Designed by internationally renowned architect, Kerry Hill, each suite will provide 120 square metres of sheer luxury, featuring superb appointments including a stunning private plunge pool.
GUEST IMPACT
The Beach Villas project is being staged to ensure there is minimum inconvenience to the Hayman guest experience and is located away from major accommodation wings and public areas. All Hayman services and facilities, including restaurants, pools, beaches, retail, resort and reef activities, will remain available for the enjoyment of guests during this period of enhancement to the Hayman beachfront. Works will take place 19 May - 30 November 2010, during this period all Beach Front and Beach Villas/Beach House will be unavailable.

The Pool Wing:
These rooms overlook the famous Hayman pool and tropical gardens. Level 3 also offers views out to the Coral Sea and neighbouring Hook Island. This wing is ideal for guests wishing to be close to and enjoy views of the iconic pool.
Pool Room: Located on level 2, overlooking the pool and tropical gardens. Each room has a spacious balcony and spacious marble bathroom with a shower over the bath. Room size is 37.64 sqm. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults and Children.
Pool Access: Located on level 1, these rooms are uniquely located on the edge of the Hayman pool and offer the ultimate Hayman experience. Each room provides direct access from the balcony straight into the pool. Interior layout is the same as the Pool Room. Room size is 37.64sqm. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults and Children.
Pool Deluxe: Located on level 3, overlooking the famous Hayman pool, tropical gardens, Hayman Beach and Coral Sea. Special features include an open style contemporary bathroom with louvred shutters allowing stunning sea views from the bathroom. The bathroom features a separate shower and bath. Room size is 37.64sqm. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults and Children.
Pool Suite: Located on levels 1, 2 and 3, overlooking the famous Hayman pool and tropical gardens. Suites on level 3 also offer views of the Hayman Beach and Coral Sea. Each suite has a separate bedroom, dressing room and lounge/dining room. Special features include a double balcony and large marble bathroom with separate shower and bath. Suite size is 75sqm. An adjoining twin bedroom can be added to selected suites to create a 2 bedroom suite. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults and Children.
The Lagoon Wing:
These rooms overlook the tranquil lagoon, tropical gardens and lagoon pool. On level 3-4 - the latter house the resort penthouses - also offer views out to the Coral Sea and neighbouring Hook Island. This wing offers larger rooms and suites than those in the Pool Wing.
Penthouses, located on level 4 of the Lagoon Wing, overlook the lily lagoon, lagoon pool, tropical gardens, Hayman Beach and Coral Sea, and offer a butler service and use of the Penthouse lounge.
Lagoon Room: Located on level 1, 2 and 3, overlooking the Lily lagoon, lagoon pool and tropical gardens. Special features include a spacious bathroom with double vanity and open plan dressing room. The Beach Wing:
Comprises Beach Front rooms, a private Beach Villa fronting Hayman Beach, and Retreat rooms set back from the beach in tropical gardens. This wing is ideal for couples wishing to stay in boutique accommodation in tranquil surrounds.
The Beach Villa is a beautiful retreat perched on Hayman Beach.
Beach Front Room: Rooms are located on the Hayman Beach, fronting the Coral Sea and adjacent to the famous Hayman pool. An exclusive group of 10 absolute beachfront rooms, each has a private terrace extending onto the white sandy beach. Each room is appointed throughout with terracotta tiles and the bathroom contains a romantic double spa with separate shower. Room size is 32sqm. Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Retreat Room: Located in the tranquil tropical gardens of the Beach Wing and within 10 metres of the Hayman Beach. An exclusive group of 16 rooms, each has a strong relationship with the outoors, and the tropical surrounds provide a lush canopy enveloping the verandah and outdoor rinse shower. The interior is a peaceful haven of natural tones and rich grained woods. Hayman Island offers restaurants and bars plus a lounge, and outdoor island settings for dining, including the Reef surrounds. Meals can also be enjoyed within guest rooms, at a Chef's banquet, or in other resort locations. Sunset cocktails and supper are served nightly.
Azure:
Overlooking the Hayman Beach, Azure offers a buffet breakfast overflowing with tropical fruits, juices and all things healthy and some just indulgent. Azure is also open selected days for lunch and refreshments indoors or on the fabulous outdoor deck. Azure also offers selected dinner on selected days presenting from an open show kitchen, specialising in fresh seafood, in an indoor and outdoor setting.
The Beach Pavilion:
Lunch is a relaxing affair in The Beach Pavilion, by the Hayman Beach and Lagoon Pool. This outdoor setting enjoys warm tropical breezes and features a selection of seafood, meat dishes and salads. A poolside service offers light refreshments throughout the day. Sunset cocktails are served each evening in this beautiful location, overlooking the Hayman Beach and Lagoon Pool.
La Fontaine:
Offers a formal, yet relaxed atmosphere - a sense of grand occasion - created by a combination of soft and rich tonings and romantic lighting amid Louis XVI furnishings, Waterford crystal chandeliers and a magnificent central limestone fountain. Guests are treated to an exquisite selection of authentically prepared modern European cuisine utilising the best in local and international produce. La Trattoria:
Al fresco home-style Italian and Mediterranean dining in La Trattoria is enjoyed in a rustic indoor and outdoor setting of local timbers, hand beaten chandeliers, hanging vines and terracotta tiles. Famous for its spectacular antipasto displays and piping hot pizzas, La Trattoria's lively village atmosphere is enhanced by dance music from the resident band.
Oriental:
Specialties of traditional Asian cultures are prepared with innovative flare at Oriental, overlooking a ceremonial tea house, which can seat 10 guests for a private dinner, and tranquil garden filled with rock pools and waterfalls. Dining platforms, each seating 4 guests, are scattered among exquisite gardens and provide a unique setting for dinner. Inside, Oriental is adorned with antiques and artifacts including 18th Century screens, copper lamps and a happy Buddha.
Children's Dining:
Special two-course Kids Menus are available in selected Hayman's restaurants which have been designed just for children and offer healthy and nutritious food. For children aged 4-12 years inclusive, a 50% discount applies for children's portions selected from a la carte menus in the restaurants. Full prices apply for beverages. There is no charge for children aged up to 4 years dining in the restaurants or for milk or other formulae ordered for babies' bottles through In Room Dining.

The Hayman Dive and Snorkel Centre is situated within Hayman's Marine Centre. Highly qualified dive instructors conduct a full range of PADI dive courses, escorted day and night dives, private charters and snorkel safari trips. Also available is the hire and sale of dive gear and snorkel equipment. Hayman offers a range of vessels from which guests can enjoy dive and snorkel activities. These include small speed boats to luxury cruisers available for private charter. Hayman Dive and Snorkel Centre conducts a range of PADI dive courses to suit guest requirements and courses are available on demand.
